CLEVELAND – The FOX Sports Net affiliate in Ohio today announced it will air six Cleveland Rockers games during the 2000 season. The six-game schedule tips-off on Saturday, June 10 as the Cleveland Rockers host the Seattle Storm. Live coverage from Gund Arena begins at 7:00 PM. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, FOX Sports Net (Ohio), made the announcement.
“As a regional sports network FOX Sports Net welcomes the return of the Cleveland Rockers to our programming line-up,” said Liverani. “The Rockers have terrific fans and we’re sure they will provide them with a great season of exciting basketball.”
Returning courtside on FOX Sports Net are Mike Snyder, play-by-play, and Amy Prichard, Cleveland Rockers color analyst since 1997. Fans will also have the opportunity to see the Rockers match-up against three WNBA teams making their debut this season: the Seattle Storm, the Miami Sol and the Indiana Fever.
