CLEVELAND –
The FOX Sports Net affiliate in Ohio today announced the promotion of Doug Johnson, producer, to producer and director. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, FOX Sports Net (Ohio) made the announcement.
In his additional role, Johnson will be involved in the creation and execution of live game telecasts including the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland CAVS on FOX Sports Net.
Doug Johnson has been involved in various FOX Sports Net productions since 1990 beginning as a freelance television producer. In 1996, he began producing “Tribe Time” and “CAVS Countdown” FOX Sports Net’s pregame shows for the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland CAVS, respectively. In 1997 his diligent effort for perfection propelled “Tribe Time” to new ratings heights and earned the program an Emmy award for “Outstanding Sports Production.” In 1998, he joined FOX Sports Net as a full-time staff member continuing his work with live pregame and game productions.
“Doug’s outstanding production skills and commitment to excellence have elevated our programs to a higher level,” said Liverani. “His promotion is a direct result of his dedication and professionalism.”
FOX Sports Net Ohio is available to four million households in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, western Pennsylvania, western New York, and West Virginia.
