CINCINNATI – Providing fans the best in regional sports television and the most comprehensive coverage of Cincinnati Reds baseball, Fox Sports Net Ohio today announced it will telecast 85 Cincinnati Reds games during the 2002 season. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement.
The Cincinnati Reds will start the season on Fox Sports Net Ohio with three spring training match-ups and bonus coverage of a 4th vs. Cleveland live from Winterhaven, Florida on Sunday, March 24 at 1:00 PM.
On Tuesday, March 19 (7:00 PM) the Reds face the New York Yankees. The next game is Wednesday, March 20 (1:00 PM) against the Texas Rangers, and on Saturday, March 23 at 1:00 PM, the Reds take on the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Reds regular season on Fox Sports Net Ohio begins with the season opener on Monday, April 1 at 2:00 PM against Sammy Sosa and the Chicago Cubs.

Back this season, is Real Reds, presented by AE Door Sales. Real Reds provides fans with commentary, features and in-depth pregame coverage of the Cincinnati Reds, 30 minutes prior to every game telecast.
2002 marks the 10th year George Grande and Chris Welsh have teamed up to call Reds games – making them the longest-running television team in Reds broadcast history. Grande is responsible for the play-by-play duties, as Welsh provides the color commentary.
Reds games are directed and produced by Mark Goldsmith and Mark Balk. Brian Hunterman produces Real Reds.
