Metrotv Takes Home Six New York Emmy Awards

Award For Outstanding Entertainment Programming For A Series Is Given to Subway Q & A For Third Year In A Row

New York, NY, Monday, March 31, 2003 – Rainbow Media Holdings, Inc.’s MetroTV captured six New York Emmy Awards at last night’s ceremony given by the New York chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. MetroTV successfully turned 12 nominations into six wins, taking home the award for Outstanding Entertainment Programming for a Series for its show Subway Q & A for the third year in-a-row.

The six Emmy’s were awarded between two of MetroTV’s series: Subway Q&A, a series where host Rich Collier dares to ask New Yorkers to speak their minds about subjects both serious and silly in one venue where everyone is equal – the NYC subway and GothamTV, a magazine show that takes an authentic and entertaining look at the people and things that make New York the most intriguing city in the world.
