1 1/2 Hour Broadcasts on Will Air on FSN Bay Area Beginning Friday, Oct. 22
SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks and FSN Bay Area announced today the
game schedule for "Shark Byte Classics," a new program featuring edited
versions of some of the greatest games in San Jose Sharks franchise history.
The inaugural episode will air on FSN Bay Area on Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. and will
feature the Oct. 8, 1991 game against the Calgary Flames, which was franchise’s
first victory. A replay of the game will air on Thurs., Oct. 28 at Noon.
"Shark Byte Classics" will feature new commentary from Sharks broadcasters Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda, along with a special guest for each episode. Former Shark and current Assistant Coach Rob Zettler, who played in the historic contest, will also be on camera for the inaugural broadcast.
San Jose Sharks fans were allowed to help select the games they wanted to
see from a list of "classic" Sharks games on the team’s official website,
sjsharks.com. The votes were tallied and the games selected will be shown in
chronological order.
