CLEVELAND – FSN Ohio today announced its men's college basketball schedule for the 2004-2005 season. In addition to a full line-up of regional and national conference action, the network will also cover several tournaments. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, FSN Ohio made the announcement.
Last year's Elite Eight Xavier Musketeers are prominently featured 16 times on FSN Ohio this season. The first match-up takes place on Friday, November 19 as Xavier battles Oakland.
The college basketball season tips-off on FSN Ohio this Wednesday, November 3 at 7:00 PM as the Wildcats of Kentucky take on Northern Kentucky. The University of Kentucky will make nine appearances on FSN Ohio this season. Additional regional basketball action includes the Cincinnati Bearcats as they battle Purdue on November 27th, and their match-ups vs. Longwood and Illinois on December 30 and 31 in the Las Vegas Classic.
In addition to Atlantic 10, MAC, ACC, and Pac-10 match-ups, FSN Ohio will also provide fans exciting tournament action with The John Wooden Tradition on Saturday, November 27; The Orange Bowl Classic, also on Saturday, November 27; the Las Vegas Classic, beginning on Thursday, December 30; and, A-10 and MAC tournament action tipping off on Thursday, March 10.
"The 2004-2005 season of college basketball on FSN Ohio features some of the most exciting match-ups available," said Liverani. "In addition, we're thrilled to have the opportunity to also air great tournament action like The John Wooden Tradition and The Las Vegas Classic."
