SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 5, 2005 – At today's NCTA, Rainbow Media announced several booth events and programming initiatives designed to demonstrate its ongoing leadership in programming innovation on both its linear and VOD services and to celebrate its popular and well known entertainment brands – AMC, IFC, WE, Mag Rack, sportskool and fuse.
These announcements are part of Rainbow's 2005 National Show focus on highlighting its advances and vision for VOD and its continued commitment to work closely with operators in developing creative solutions to help drive sales of high speed, telephony and broadband.
Rainbow Media's National Show booth #1629 is dubbed "The Control Room" where Rainbow is raising the bar on VOD with previews of its innovative on demand services, along with a sneak peek at some never before seen product.

AMC ANNOUNCES LINE UP FOR DVD_TV
Once each month, AMC's DVD_TV franchise taps into the cravings of movie people, offering a Sunday movie marathon populated with DVD-like extras, including original programming and rare behind the scenes footage, exclusive interviews and more. Today, AMC announced its second quarter offerings of DVD_TV festivals. The line up features: "Groundhog Day" on Sunday, April 10; "National Lampoon's Animal House" on Sunday, May 22 and "Independence Day" on Sunday, June 12. Each DVD_TV will feature a full screen airing of the movie followed by a "Much More Movie" version of the film, which provides text information below the "letterboxed" print.

IFC ANNOUCES ON-AIR PULP INDIE FILM MARATHON AND DOCUMENTARY ENTRY AT TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL
In the Post-Tarantino world of independent film, all bets are off and the Pulp is King. In June, IFC will present a series of crime genre pictures and thrillers too gritty for the art house. Every Monday thru Saturday at 11 pm ET throughout June, IFC will spotlight a Pulp Indies film, including the IFC premieres of "Reservoir Dogs" and "Jackie Brown." The month-long festival will also showcase: "The Usual Suspects," "King of NY," "Blade Runner," "Birthday Girl" and "Auto Focus."
IFC also announced today that its original documentary "Punk: Attitude", from filmmaker Don Letts, will make its world premiere at this year's annual Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. The documentary will compete in the Documentary Feature category.

WE TEAMS WITH PARAMOUNT TO PROMOTE "SAHARA"
WE has teamed with Paramount Pictures to promote the studio's upcoming feature release, "Sahara," staring Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz. On Thursday, April 7, the day before the movie hits theatrical screens nationwide, WE will provide viewers with a "sneak peek" of the movie through custom produced promos, exclusive film footage, and interviews with stars McConaughey, Cruz and Steve Zahn talking about the making of the film. The sneak peek will air during interstitials surrounding WE's 8 pm movie, "Jewel of the Nile," starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, as part of the network's month-long film festival "It's Raining Men," which spotlights a nightly film starring a favorite male actor.
