SAN FRANCISCO, CA – FSN Bay Area gives hardcore San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's fans the opportunity to represent their team and city and show their pride in the Bay Bridge Sound-Off promotion. In conjunction with the Giants/A's interleague series ('Bay Bridge Series'), cross-bay rival fans are asked on www.fsnbayarea.com "9 Reasons Why It's Better to Be a Giants Fan than an A's Fan" and "9 Reasons Why It's Better to Be an A's Fan than a Giants Fan." The collected material will be incorporated into next week's FSN Bay Area's Giants/A's game telecasts.
Round one of this two-round showdown begins Friday, May 20th during the Giants/A's telecast as Giants fans and San Francisco notables sound-off "9 Reasons Why It's Better to Be a Giants Fan than an A's Fan." One reason per inning will be presented. The next night, Saturday, May 21st, A's fans and East Bay personalities have their chance to serve up "9 Reasons Why It's Better to Be an A's Fan than a Giants Fan."
"Giants and A's fans are some of the most passionate and loyal fans in Major League Baseball," said Jeff Krolik, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FSN Bay Area. "The Bay Bridge Sound-Off gets fans into the spirit for the upcoming Giants/A's interleague series and gives them another opportunity to support their favorite team and city."
Note: An additional release on the Bay Bridge Sound-Off will be sent out the week of May 16th with updated information and a list of participating celebrities.
