David Weier Named Vice President of Music and Talent Relations

Tricia O'Leary Hired as Director of Music and Talent Relations

New York, NY, February 28, 2006 – fuse, the nation's only viewer influenced, music television network, announced today two new appointments in the music programming and talent relations department. David Weier has been named Vice President of Music and Talent Relations and Tricia O'Leary has been hired as Director of Music and Talent Relations. Collectively, the team oversees all aspects of the network's talent functions including in-studio bookings and appearances by musicians and celebrities, developing fuse on-air talent and obtaining rights and permissions for fuse programming to be available across all of our multi-platform program offerings. Today's announcement was made by Catherine Mullen, Executive Vice President and General Manager for fuse.

David Weier began his career in marketing at VH1 before joining their music talent department where he helped develop programming including Storytellers, Behind the Music and Save the Music. Originally a consultant for MuchMusic USA, Weier tapped into his strong relationships with key artists and labels to help launch the network. During his tenure, he helped create a unique, artist-driven programming format that features the superstars of rock, hip-hop and pop, in addition to emerging artists. Under his leadership, Weier has booked everyone from U2, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance to Eminem, Beyonce and Coldplay. Currently, Weier is responsible for overseeing fuse's talent relations department, programming, artist development, tour support and all guest bookings on the network.

Reporting directly to Weier, Tricia O'Leary joins the team as the Director of Music and Talent Relations. O'Leary is responsible for overseeing all of the channel's studio bookings for shows including Steven's Untitled Rock Show, Daily Download, Tattoo Stories, Hip Hop Confidential and the concert based show 7th Avenue Drop. O'Leary previously worked at VH1 where she helped shape the music and talent department, building strong relationships with video promotion departments at major and independent labels. Prior to VH1, O'Leary worked at ICM and The Agency Group booking tours for various artists throughout the United States.
