FSN the Choice for Passionate Football Fans Seeking More Than the Average Nightly Sports Report; Home to Lead Football Writer from New England’s Largest Dailies

Tweeter's 4 Downs with Felger Show Added to Football Lineup Featuring Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight and New England Tailgate

New Show Kicks Off with One-On-One Chalk Talk with QB Tom Brady

(BURLINGTON, MA) – For the New England football fan who craves more than just three-minutes of nightly sound bites, FSN has the most comprehensive football coverage and is the only network with the leading football writer from the region's three largest daily newspapers.

FSN's nightly football coverage features Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight Presented by the Boston Herald, and its weekly programming includes a one-hour football block on Thursday and Friday featuring New England Tailgate and the all-new Tweeter's 4 Downs with Felger, which premiers on September 7, with a Tom Brady interview and chalk talk.

Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight
There's no need to wait until 11 p.m. for the networks to provide days old highlights and locker room sound. FSN's football coverage begins each weeknight with Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight. Live, twice-a-night at 6:30 and 10 p.m., hosts Gary Tanguay and Greg Dickerson analyze, debate and breakdown each and every game with the region's top beat writers including Michael Felger (Boston Herald), Alan Greenberg (Hartford Courant), Tom Curran (NBCSports.com), Paul Perrillo (Patriots Football Weekly), John Tomase (Boston Herald) and Andy Gresh (The Score).

Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight's football coverage will also include a live interview with WEEI's Glenn Ordway each Monday and weekly features with Vince Wilfork every Tuesday and Mike Vrabel each Friday.

New England Tailgate
WEEI's talk master Glenn Ordway returns to TV again this season with two Boston area natives and pro football veterans, Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie, for another season of New England Tailgate. Always entertaining and informative, the trio breaks down each game and previews the next week's opponent. Akin to a three-ring circus, Ordway serves as ring master as Smerlas and DeOssie, who combined to play 27 NFL seasons, inform, inflame and entertain with their football IQs and their newly acquired telestrator skills. New England Tailgate premiers on Thursday, September 7, and can be seen every Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Tweeter's 4 Downs with Felger
Boston Herald football writer and ESPN Radio Boston host Michael Felger is in the Patriots locker room every day and this season he will expand his role on FSN with his very own 4 Downs with Felger 30- minute show every Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. Ever the contrarian, Felger's opinions will be regularly challenged by the equally opinionated Boston Globe football writer Ron Borges, three-time NFL Pro-Bowler and former New England Patriot Russ Francis, and Sports Illustrated's football writer Don Banks.

Felger will make news with his very first show as he goes one-on-one with quarterback Tom Brady. During the interview, Brady conducts a chalk talk session with Felger and diagrams some of the key plays from the Patriots' championship era.

On negotiating contracts with the Pats:
"If everyone wanted to be the highest paid, if I wanted to be that, then we wouldn't have a very deep team. I know in some ways it's irresponsible as a player for me to say that, because sometimes I agree with the management. But I think we're all in this together. We're trying to build something special, and it's not about who spends the most money. There are a lot of teams that spend a lot of money that don't perform well. We consistently perform well.''

On being a coach on the field:
"As a quarterback you want to be able to get on guys because you've got to find ways to motivate them. I'm dropping back and I need my split end to run an in-cut and he runs a curl route, he's going to get yelled at because I'm depending on him. I think sometimes I got more frustrated last year, and I carry this home with me, so I'm sure there were a lot of people in my life who felt it, too.''

In addition to its local coverage, FSN has the national scene covered with Totally Football, Monday – Thursday at 6:00 p.m., and Pro Football Preview at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
