NEW YORK, NY – May 15, 2007 – Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation (RASCO), the advertising arm of parent company Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, announced today that Susan Joseph Smith has be named Account Director for RASCO's Client Activation Team (CAT). Smith was formerly Vice President of trade marketing for WE tv. In her new role, she will use her marketing expertise to provide clients with multi-platform branded entertainment opportunities for Rainbow's national networks AMC & WE tv. Smith reports directly to Terry Holmstrom, Vice President of Client Activation for RASCO. Rainbow Media's Client Activation Team is a new division created to meet the needs of the advertising community for multi-platform, integrated and cross-marketing deals. Smith joins Holmstrom in leveraging the power of Rainbow's portfolio of brands including AMC and WE tv across each of its multiple media platforms.

RASCO's Client Activation team is responsible for the overall promotion and marketing of Rainbow's national networks including AMC and WE tv. Smith began her career at Rainbow's WE tv in 2001 as the director of the newly formed Trade Marketing department designed to introduce WE tv to the ad sales community during the first network upfront season in 2002/2003. Smith has spearheaded the strategic development and execution of fully integrated partnerships designed exclusively for advertisers, including brand integration, on-air and online promotion, as well as on-demand and broadband content. Her collaboration with national ad sales throughout her tenure has resulted in major advertiser commitments, including the first network program product placement for Pontiac and the first advertiser integration across all WE tv digital platforms for "Dirty Dancing" and Maybelline. Smith has worked with the Rainbow sales team to create a strong brand awareness and demand for WE tv through advertising campaigns and targeted sales materials, and has led the messaging and creative development for every WE tv upfront since becoming ad-supported in 2001.
