New York, NY – June 12, 2007 – VOOM HD Networks' Family Room HD, a channel solely dedicated to movies and entertainment for the whole family, announced today they have joined forces with Decode Entertainment to present the original series, The Latest Buzz in high definition. Decode Entertainment is one of the largest international suppliers of television and interactive programmers targeting children and pre-teens. The 13 half-hour episodes, premiering this month on Family Room HD, centers around five 14 year-old writers who work at a youth magazine during 8th period at school. Family Room HD is part of the VOOM HD Networks, the largest and most diverse suite of high-definition channels nationwide and currently available on DISH Network.

The Latest Buzz is series about a struggling youth-oriented magazine Teen Buzz which decides to replace its staff with actual teens by running an essay-writing contest, giving an amazing opportunity to five students of a progressive high school. Instead of being in class, they will take their last period of the day at the posh offices of Teen Buzz. The series follows Rebecca, Michael, Noah, Amanda and Wilder as they are thrown together in this new experience and try to learn about the fast-paced world of publishing, all while living the fast-paced life of a teenager.
Since its launch, Family Room HD has introduced a variety of high-definition series including Flipper, the digitally re-mastered HD version of the ever-popular family series about an intelligent dolphin and his adventures; UFO, a classic sci-fi series about a secret military organization defending the Earth from Alien invaders; and The Thunderbirds, a series about a unique, private emergency response service – International Rescue – designed to react to any crisis as the team answers calls for help around and beyond the world, preventing enemies from learning and exploiting their secrets. Family Room HD also includes many family-oriented movies like BLACK BEAUTY, THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN and THE NEXT KARATE KID.
