PASADENA, CA, January 12, 2006 – WE tv's original hit series "The Secret Lives of Women" returns with 10 new one-hour compelling episodes, detailing some of the most outrageous and shocking things that women hide. The third season of "The Secret Lives of Women" premieres on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 10PM ET & PT / 9 C.
"The Secret Lives of Women" takes an unapologetic look at females who conceal behaviors and professions that push the boundaries of "normal" society. Each episode addresses a peculiar topic in a very personal format, with first hand testimonials from women who share a common secret. They appear to be everyday members of society and could even be your sister, co-worker, or best friend and you wouldn't know it. From "black widow" women to phone sex operators, polygamists to shoplifters, nothing is too taboo for this series.
This season, we will meet: "Munchausen Moms," mothers who make their children sick in order to gain attention for themselves, despite the dire and painful consequences that these children endure; "Black Widows," cunning women killers who lure their male prey, marry them and then take their very lives; women who suffer from an obsessive compulsive behavior; females who, in one way or another, use sex to earn money; "Cougars," women who lust after younger men; ultra-feminine "Lipstick Lesbians"; women who cheat – and who have been cheated on; polygamists; and shoplifters.
