CarolAnne Dolan Named Vice President of Non-Fiction Development and Production
Theresa Patiri Promoted to Vice President of Production Management and Operations
New York, NY, November 17, 2008 – WE tv announced the expansion of the network’s production team with CarolAnne Dolan named Vice President of non-fiction development and production and Theresa Patiri promoted to Vice President of production management and operations. Both Dolan and Patiri will report to Steve Cheskin, senior vice president of programming, production and packaging.

As vice president of non-fiction development and production for WE tv, CarolAnne is responsible for creating and developing new original programming, overseeing casting and editorial content for all non-scripted original series, specials, pilots and interstitials, as well as managing the production staff.
CarolAnne most recently served as executive producer at NHNZ, a New Zealand production company, where she created series and specials for Discovery, National Geographic and Animal Planet. Prior to NHNZ, CarolAnne spent more than eight years at A&E working in documentary programming including, American Justice, City Confidential, Cold Case Files, Parole Board, Investigative Reports, Behind Closed Doors With Joan Lunden and Biography. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from SUNY/College at Purchase and has been a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences since 1997.
As vice president of production management and operations for WE tv, Theresa will be responsible for developing, executing and managing production management strategies. She will manage all original production business affairs, including deal negotiations, talent contracts, rights and clearances, budgets, international and domestic program sales as well as the day-to- day production operations for all series, specials, documentaries, pilots, interstitials and demos.
A Rainbow Media veteran, Theresa has been a member of the WE tv team for more than seven years, most recently as director of production management, operations and administration. In that role, she was responsible for negotiating and securing domestic and international media rights for all of WE tv original programming. Prior to that, Theresa worked in News & Entertainment Operations for NBC as a television operations and production services coordinator, where she worked on such large scale events as the Columbus Day Parade, Olympics 2000, Thanksgiving Day Parade, Christmas in Rockefeller Center, and Decision 2000. She has also worked in casting for The Sopranos, and as a production assistant for Another World. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Science from Hofstra University.
