NEW YORK, NY – September 28, 2010 – IFC (www.ifc.com) has launched its first-ever iPhone application to support the network’s original comedy series, "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret," premiering Friday, October 1 at 10 pm, et/pt. The free, downloadable app, "The Todd Margaret Poor Decisions Generator," will help viewers make their own poor decisions on a variety of topics, including guys, girls, sex, work, food, travel, fashion and manners. The app is available via the App Store and on ifc.com (www.ifc.com/todd-margaret/iphone).
Other features of the app include a "Randomizer" button, which provides a list of things to say and do to spoil things for yourself and everyone around you; a "Meet Team Thunder Muscle" section, allowing users to get to know the people responsible for the "awesome new energy drink" featured in the series; show clips; and the ability to share your poor decisions with friends on Facebook.
The app copy was written by stand-up comedian, actor, author, and comedy writer, Wayne Federman. He is noted for his numerous stand-up comedy appearances in clubs, theaters, and on television; his biography of "Pistol" Pete Maravich; and his supporting comedic acting roles in The X-Files, The Larry Sanders Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Legally Blonde, 50 First Dates, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Step Brothers. He was also the head monologue writer for NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in its first season.
