New York, NY – March 17, 2011 – Rainbow Media announced today that Betsy Rodgers has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs. Previously a vice president in the same department, Rodgers is responsible for supporting the Sundance Selects and IFC Entertainment companies and brands, which include Sundance Selects, IFC Films, IFC Midnight, the IFC Center located in New York City and SundanceNow.com. She reports to Jamie Gallagher, General Counsel for Rainbow Media.

Prior to heading up Sundance Selects/IFCE’s legal team, Rodgers was a senior attorney in Rainbow Media’s National Services group and advised the IFC, AMC and WEtv networks in addition to IFCE. Before joining Rainbow Media, Rodgers was a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where her focus was on mergers & acquisitions, securities and private equity transactions.
Rodgers is a graduate of Princeton University and The University of Texas School of Law.
