New York, NY, August 1, 2011 – WE tv announced today that Sherry Pitkofsky has joined the network as Vice President, Partnership Marketing, Promotions & Public Affairs, reporting to Rosie Pisani, Senior Vice President of Marketing. She is based in the network’s New York City office.
Pitkofsky is responsible for elevating WE tv’s brand awareness and viewer affinity by developing strategic network partnerships, creating multi-platform brand experiences, growing WE tv’s public affairs campaign, WE Empowers Women, and driving viewer tune in and awareness through show-specific promotions.
“Sherry is an accomplished strategic marketer with a proven track record of creating brand awareness through innovative partnerships and brand strategies that resonate with viewers, distributors and advertisers,” said Pisani. “Her talents are an ideal fit for WE tv as we expand the network’s efforts to align the channel with strategic partners, positioning WE tv for continued growth. Before joining WE tv, Pitkofsky served as Director of Ad Sales Marketing at Bravo, where she successfully elevated brand awareness and ad sales revenue through multi-platform marketing campaigns with national advertisers. She was instrumental in developing brand strategy, and was the lead marketing strategist on digital initiatives which produced nearly 200% growth year over year. Prior to Bravo, Pitkofsky was the Senior Manager of Creative Services and Business Development at Condé Nast where she established new marketing partnerships and promotional alliances. In addition she has held marketing positions at Bolt Media, Bennett Book Advertising and Perseus Books Group.
Pitkofsky is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. She is a member the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), Step Up Women’s Network and Young Jewish Professionals.
