AMC Networks Promotes Three in Corporate Communications

Georgia Juvelis Named Senior Vice President
Lisa Rogen and Jaime Saberito Promoted to Vice President

NEW YORK, NY, August X, 2012 – AMC Networks has promoted three executives in its Corporate Communications department, it was announced today by Ellen Kroner, executive vice president of marketing and communications. Georgia Juvelis has been elevated from vice president to senior vice president, Corporate Communications, and Lisa Rogen and Jaime Saberito have been promoted from directors to vice presidents of Corporate Communications.

Juvelis, who joined the company in 2008, oversees all business and trade media relations for the company and its brands, including AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel, WE tv, AMC/Sundance Channel Global and IFC Films. In this role, she acts as chief company spokesperson and manages the Corporate Communications department, which includes Rogen and Saberito.

Lisa Rogen manages the day-to-day trade and business media relations for AMC and IFC Films/Sundance Selects. Jaime Saberito is dedicated to IFC and WE tv. Rogen and Saberito partner with their respective network?s executive teams and consumer PR groups on brand press strategy and marketing and sales initiatives.

Juvelis has more than 15 years experience working in publicity and corporate communications for leading media and entertainment companies, including Gemstar-TV Guide, Discovery Communications and Hearst Corporation. Prior to AMC Networks, she was vice president of communications for Gemstar-TV Guide, where she oversaw corporate communications, talent relations and publicity for all of TV Guide’s television and interactive businesses. Previously, Juvelis owned and operated an independent media relations consulting firm in New York and San Francisco. She began her career at Discovery Communications, where she managed publicity for Discovery Channel and TLC. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. She is a member of Women in Film, WICT, CTAM and ACC.

Rogen joined AMC in 2005, from Rubenstein Public Relations, where she developed strategic public relations campaigns for a variety of clients. Before that, she worked at Cablevision’s Metro TV, and was part of the original team that launched the lifestyle magazine, “Animal Fair.” She began her career as a publicist at King World Productions where she worked on Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Rogen received a Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York at Albany.

Saberito re-joined AMC Networks in 2009. Prior to that, she was the senior director of corporate communications for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. She began her career at AMC as a publicist. Saberito received a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude from Long Island University. She is an active member of the cable and PR industries, currently serving as the board vice president of WICT NY and the chapter chair of EPPS NY. She is also a member of CTAM, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Association of Cable Communicators.
