Over the past five seasons, “Breaking Bad” has been heralded as one of the best TV dramas on television. USA Today called it, “As hard and sharp and brilliant as a diamond, and in the TV landscape, just as valuable” while People Magazine called it, “The best TV drama ever.” The New York Post described lead character Walter White, “The best antihero on television. Not just today, but ever.”

“’Breaking Bad’ has become a benchmark for storytelling at its finest and we are proud to air this series as we embark on our own scripted programming with the upcoming debut of ‘Rectify,’ which is produced by the same incredible team behind ‘Breaking Bad’,” commented Sarah Barnett, Sundance Channel’s General Manager and Executive Vice President.“We are looking forward to giving viewers another opportunity to catch up with what has been called TV’s best drama.”

“Breaking Bad” follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy.
