NEW YORK, NY, February 6, 2015 – AMC Networks Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCX) today announced that Gregg Seibert has been named Vice Chairman. In this newly created role, Mr. Seibert will work with AMC Networks’ senior management team to provide strategic and financial advice on corporate strategy and business initiatives, including financing and other strategic transactions that further position the company for success.

The Madison Square Garden Company also announced today that Mr. Seibert has been named vice chairman of the company. In addition to this, Mr. Seibert continues in his role as vice chairman of Cablevision Systems Corporation. Over the last six years, Mr. Seibert has helped shape Cablevision’s overall strategy while playing an instrumental role in a number of the company’s key strategic initiatives including Cablevision’s spin offs of The Madison Square Garden Company and AMC Networks Inc. Before joining Cablevision in 2009, Mr. Seibert held several senior leadership positions at Merrill Lynch including vice chairman, head of corporate finance and head of the global media practice.
Mr. Seibert received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
