“At AMC, we talk a lot about bringing fans programming that is pioneering, premium and popular. ‘Better Call Saul’ is the rare program accomplishing all three,” said Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios. “Vince, Peter, Bob and so many other incredibly talented people responsible for crafting ‘Better Call Saul’ are marching us, with style, toward ‘Breaking Bad.’ So, to everyone who said that a prequel to ‘Breaking Bad’ was a ‘bad idea,’ we couldn’t agree more. It’s wonderfully ‘Bad’ and getting ‘Badder’ with each episode. Congratulations to all involved and thanks, as always, to the loyal fans who make these stories possible.”
