Kristin Jones, SVP International Programming, Expands Portfolio to Include SundanceTV in Addition to AMC
Chris Loveall Joins AMC and SundanceTV as VP, International Programming
NEW YORK, NY – September 27, 2016 – AMC and SundanceTV today announced a newly created international programming group, headed by Kristin Jones, who now oversees international programming and co-productions across both AMC and SundanceTV. Jones had been running international programming for AMC and played an integral role in bringing notable titles such as “The Night Manager” and “Humans” to the network during her tenure. She continues to report to Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV. Additionally, Chris Loveall has joined as vice president, international programming for AMC and SundanceTV, reporting to Jones.
AMC and SundanceTV have enjoyed great success recently with their international programming strategy, focused on bringing the best of the world’s dramas to the U.S. through premier partnerships. AMC miniseries “The Night Manager” recently received 12 Emmy® nominations and critically lauded series “Humans” is returning for season two next year. SundanceTV recently debuted “The A Word” and acclaimed Italian series “Gomorrah,” both to high praise from viewers and critics. Additionally, miniseries “Top of the Lake 2,” directed by Jane Campion and starring Elizabeth Moss and Nicole Kidman and season two of series “Cleverman” will bow in 2017 on SundanceTV.

As Senior Vice President, International Programming for AMC and SundanceTV, Jones oversees the creation, development and production of innovative scripted programming from overseas.
Jones, who is based in New York, has been with AMC since 2014, focused on international scripted projects. Prior to joining AMC, Jones served as chief creative officer for multi-platform digital studio Vuguru. Before that, she served as senior vice president of international development, production and acquisitions for Miramax Films in New York, and prior to that, she was vice president of production and European acquisitions for Buena Vista International, based in London. She began her career as a film literary agent at ICM.
About Chris Loveall
As Vice President, International Programming for AMC and SundanceTV, Chris Loveall is based in Los Angeles and is responsible for the development and acquisitions of international programming and co-productions for both networks. Prior to joining AMC and SundanceTV, Loveall served as vice president of original programming at Pivot, developing scripted drama, comedy and animation projects and overseeing the business affairs process for all programming deals. This included international co-productions “Fortitude” and “Please Like Me.” Loveall has also held a number of programming-focused positions at ABC Signature Studios, The CW, and other production companies. Loveall holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and political science from the University of California at Davis.
