For the First Time, the Daytime Emmy® Nominated Series Will Present the Finale Episode – Actors and Actresses Roundtable – in Front of a Live Audience
NEW YORK – January 03, 2018 – SundanceTV’s original non-fiction series “Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter,” produced in partnership with The Hollywood Reporter, returns for the second half of its third season on Sunday, January 21st at 10am ET. The season presents seven original episodes – roundtable discussions with directors, actors, actresses, producers, writers, and cinematographers, plus a roundtable with both actors and actresses, filmed in front of a live audience. A full schedule of the season is below.
The new season, with Matthew Belloni, Stephen Galloway and Carolyn Giardina each moderating different roundtable discussions, will include passionate and honest conversations with A-list talent from the year’s most acclaimed films. Guests include Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winners and nominees Jessica Chastain, Bryan Cranston, James Franco, Armie Hammer, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Octavia Spencer, Emma Stone as well as other industry notables such as Judd Apatow, Guillermo del Toro, Diane Kruger, Jordan Peele, Margot Robbie, Seth Rogen, Aaron Sorkin and more.
Nominated for a Daytime Emmy® in 2017, “Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter” represents a continued commitment by SundanceTV to innovative, informative unscripted programming that sheds light on the world of filmed storytelling and popular culture.
