New York, NY – November 20, 2020 – WE tv’s “Love After Lockup” concluded the second half of its 3rd season with record viewership, scoring its highest rated half season in series history in total viewers and across all key demos. The most recent season also ranks as the #2 most watched season in the history of the “Love/Life After Lockup” franchise, behind only the second half of “Life After Lockup” season 2. The season will feature couples Shavel & Quaylon, Scott & Lindsey, and Amber & Puppy from the most recent “Love After Lockup” season, as well as returning fan favorites Marcelino & Brittany, Michael & Sarah, Lacey & Shane, and Andrea & Lamar.
The “Love/Life After Lockup” franchise continues to be “must watch” television for audiences on Friday nights. The second half of season 3 of “Love After Lockup” averaged nearly 1.3 million total viewers per episode and saw double digit percentage growth compared to the first half of the season, +15% among women 18-49, +13% among women 25-54, +12% among adults 25-54, and +12% among total viewers in Nielsen Live+3 ratings. During its six-week season run, “Love After Lockup” Season 3 Part 2 made WE tv the #1 cable entertainment network spot on Friday nights during its time slot among women and adults 18-49 and 25-54 in Nielsen Live+3 ratings. WE tv was also the #1 cable entertainment network among women 25-54 in prime time on Fridays.
For 2020 to date, “Love After Lockup” ranks as the #1 original cable program on Friday nights among women 18-49 and 25-54 in Nielsen Live+3 and Live+7 ratings and has made WE tv the #1 cable entertainment network on Friday nights among these key demos in Nielsen Live+7.
