NEW YORK, NY – January 17, 2024 – AMC Networks announced today that it has hired seasoned technology executive Stephanie Mitchko as the company’s Executive Vice President, Global Media Operations & Technology, reporting to CEO Kristin Dolan.
In this new role at the company, Mitchko will provide strategic leadership across the company’s global technology and operations business including information technology, media and broadcast operations, content delivery, cybersecurity, supply chain technologies, products and streaming product operations and customer service. She will also lead the company’s data strategy.

With more than 25 years of experience, Mitchko joins AMC Networks after serving as a technology consultant for the company for the past several months. She was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Charter Communications and Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer of CadentTV. Prior to that, Mitchko served as Senior Vice President of Video Infrastructure Software for Cablevision in addition to several other technology roles at the company.
A multi-Emmy® Award winning executive and holder of a groundbreaking technology patent, Mitchko holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU-Poly in New York and a Certificate from the SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program at Dartmouth. She teaches as a guest lecturer at NYU/Stern Graduate School and is a member of the NYU Poly Enterprise Learning Board.
