NEW YORK – December 19, 2024 – AMC Networks debuted a new extended look at Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches season two as part of an enchanting slate of witchy content, catchup opportunities and more leading into the series’ anticipated return on Sunday, January 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Mayfair’s second season, starring Alexandra Daddario, Jack Huston, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa and Alyssa Jirrels, will debut on AMC and AMC+, as well as across all of AMC’s linear networks- BBC AMERICA, IFC, SundanceTV and WEtv- for a multi-network premiere night event.

The new extended look at Mayfair season two, which will also be available on AMC+ on December 22, features never-before-seen clips and exclusive interviews with the cast, as well as a season one recap.  Fans can also catch up on Mayfair Witches season one on AMC, with a marathon premiering Friday, January 3, or streaming on AMC+.

AMC Networks will also rollout Wicked: Stories of Magic & Mystery, a collection of mystical series and witchy films across its various platforms, including:

    • A Discovery of Witches, the supernatural fantasy drama starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer, is available to binge now on AMC+, Sundance Now and Acorn TV.
    • Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale will follow the Mayfair season two premiere on AMC for a two-hour block of witchy programming. The series’ first season will also re-release on AMC+ and Sundance Now and debut on Acorn TV on Sunday, January 5.
    • Two Witches, the horror movie about an aging, malevolent witch who intercedes in the lives of two young women, debuts Monday, January 6 on Shudder.
    • Domino Day: Lone Witch, starring Siena Kelly as a powerful witch with a dark secret, is available to binge now on AMC+, Sundance Now and ALLBLK.
    • RLJE’s Burying the Ex, a horror comedy starring Daddario, Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) and Ashley Greene (Twilight), streams on AMC+ beginning Friday, December 27.

Mayfair Witches’ new season continues the journey of Rowan Mayfair (Daddario) after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher (Huston). She is determined to understand what he has become – human or monster? – and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family.

Additional season two cast includes Ben Feldman, Ted Levine and Thora Birch, amongst others. The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson, showrunner Esta Spalding, Tom Williams, Michelle Ashford, Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice, and is produced by AMC Studios.
