SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Northern California sports fans will get their first look at FOX Sports Net Bay Area’s newest addition to its on-air team. Paul Calvisi, lead anchor for the 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT, will join Glen Kuiper for the Oakland A’s/Kansas City Royals pregame show on Friday, June 23rd at 6:30 PM. The announcement was made by Ted Griggs, Vice President of Programming & Operations, FOX Sports Net Bay Area.
The show will preview the A’s/Royals match-up, news around the league, and the upcoming launch of the 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT. The 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT, a 30-minute live local sports news show debuts on Monday, July 31. The nightly 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT provides heavy emphasis on key local stories and scores, and also important national stories and how they impact local fans.
Concentrating on local sports stories from all corners of Northern California, the 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT is a complement to FOX Sports Net’s NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT at 10 PM and midnight, and is followed at 11:30 PM by THE LAST WORD WITH JIM ROME.
Announcements of other appointments related to the 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT will be made on a periodic basis leading up to the show’s July 31 launch.
