New York, NY – Viewers of the new MC Lyte and Bentley Kyle Evans created sitcom, Partners In Rhyme, may have noticed an option to go “Deepr” into the soundtrack of the series as they’ve watched the episodes. Centered around a legendary rapper who discovers she has a massive amount of debt after being dropped from her label, Partners In Rhyme follows the fictional rap pioneer as she accepts a proposition to manage her niece (Precious Way, Queens) – a new school Instagram rapper whose star power is on the rise. The music-oriented sitcom features a variety of new original songs recorded by MC Lyte and her co-star, among others. As fans discover new favorites, Deepr provides them with the ability to identify and educate themselves on a song, in real time – all while streaming the show.
Created by Austin Webster and Darrell Thompson, Deepr makes discovering music quicker and easier by removing the guesswork for fans seeking songs played throughout episodes of their favorite shows. Described as Shazam meets IMDB for music, Deepr allows users to identify the music around them or dive into an advanced search of producers, songwriters, and more. Utilizing in-app audio recognition, viewers can access and combine the discography of the creators they discover in seconds. Grammy Award-winning musicians, Dallas Austin and Teddy Riley, are among the industry veterans on Deepr’s advisory board.
To access the Deepr technology, subscribers can head to the Partners In Rhyme page at www.ALLBLK.tv. Once there, viewers should click on the “Deepr” button available on screen – after which they will be able to see all the original songs from the episode with specific time codes of when they play, as well as learn more about the artists and associated music credits.
“Customizing the streaming experience for our subscribers is a priority at ALLBLK, and at AMC Networks overall,” says Brett Dismuke, General Manager of ALLBLK and WE tv. “Deepr is delivering a new element of enjoyment that will elevate how viewers interact with their content selections. What better way to introduce our ALLBLK audience to such a great feature than with hip-hop royalty, MC Lyte, and her new series – Partners In Rhyme.”
Austin Webster, Founder & CEO of Deepr added, “We are extremely thrilled to introduce our Deepr Widget technology in partnership with ALLBLK and the innovative leadership of Brett Dismuke. Partners In Rhyme offers a wonderful entertainment experience that we are pleased to support through music discovery.”
Deepr’s integration on ALLBLK is currently available on the ALLBLK website at www.ALLBLK.tv for streamers of Partners In Rhyme.
