JERICHO, NEW YORK, June 14, 2004 -This Father’s Day AMC celebrates Dads everywhere with an on-air movie festival, “Made For Men Weekend,” on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20. The films range from westerns to war-themed to sci-fi and action and feature some of Hollywood’s biggest stars like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Kurt Russell and James Stewart.
The festival begins at 6 am on Saturday, June 19 with DAKOTA and continues throughout the day with airings of manly men movies, including: WINCHESTER ’73, EL DORADO, ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST and WARLOCK.
On Sunday, June 20, AMC features more movies for Dad, including: ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK and SAHARA.
