Network Honors Hollywood Icons Al Pacino, Jimmy Stewart and Kevin Costner
New York, NY, October 9, 2007 – AMC announced today that Honda has signed on to sponsor the network's Hollywood Icon franchise, for the month of October, to promote their all-new Accord. Hollywood Icon is a unique programming strategy that only AMC can deliver, where the network showcases one of Hollywood's most acclaimed actors throughout the month via their movies, factoids, celebrity quotes and special vignettes about the star. AMC's October Hollywood Icon is Al Pacino and included in the sponsorship deal will be the integration of tagged tune-ins prior to the first airing of the movies that premiere under the Icon block. Other elements include: image spots, brand product vignettes, billboards, and a customized open touting the all-new Accord from Honda as the official presenting sponsor.

Featured films for AMC's Hollywood Icon with Al Pacino for October include Sea of Love, Insomnia, Scent of a Woman and ,Justice for All. AMC's Hollywood Icon for November is legendary icon Jimmy Stewart where several of his classic films throughout the month will premiere including Cheyenne Autumn, How the West Was Won, Vertigo, and Rear Window, among others. In December, Hollywood Icon will honor Kevin Costner, showcasing films such films as: Open Range, Waterworld, and Bull Durham.
AMC is delivering record performance in 2007, garnering year over year growth among all key demographics in prime time. In addition to its growth, AMC is ranking as a Top 10 in prime Men 25-54 delivery among all ad-supported networks for the year, an increase of 6% year to year for the network. Available to over 94 million homes, AMC also ranks among the Top 15 networks in raw impression growth during primetime among M25-54 delivery (#11 (up 15,000) for 2007 to date.
