WE: Women's Entertainment will soon be searching for "America's Cutest Puppy" with its new 5-part original series that is currently in development for 2006. Building on the network's increasing original programming slate, "America's Cutest Puppy" will capture the excitement, anticipation and angst as hundreds of dog-owners attempt to earn a place among the final dozen. The audience will be the judges, and the 12 finalists (selected from nation-wide casting calls and audition tapes) will be flown to Los Angeles where they will compete for the title and cash prize. WE will begin the search for the country's cutest, most talented pooch in Q1 06. The show will air on the network in Q4 06.
