CLEVELAND – FOX Sports Net Ohio today announced its 2000-2001 Atlantic 10 men’s and women’s basketball schedule. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, FOX Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement.
Scheduled for the upcoming season is a combination of 14 Xavier and Dayton men’s basketball games with a minimum of seven Xavier appearances. FOX Sports Net will also air 14 LIVE conference match-ups from teams such as UMass, Temple University, Rhode Island and George Washington University. Live Atlantic 10 quarterfinal and semifinal tournament action also returns to the FOX Sports Net Ohio line-up.
FOX Sports Net tips-off the 2000-2001 season of Atlantic 10 men’s basketball on Saturday, January 6 (2 p.m.) as George Washington takes on UMass.
Atlantic 10 women’s hoop action returns on FOX Sports Net Ohio beginning Sunday, January 7 (12 p.m.) as LaSalle battles Duquesne. Atlantic 10 action continues on FOX Sports Net Ohio with seven additional games culminating in live women’s semifinal tournament action.
“Providing regional sports programming has been, and continues to be, an important focus for our network,” said Liverani. “Basketball fans throughout the region will have a great line up of Atlantic 10 basketball action to look forward to during the upcoming season.”
FOX Sports Net Ohio is available to four million households in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, western Pennsylvania, western New York, and West Virginia.
