JERICHO, NEW YORK, June 3, 2002 – Daisy Fuentes takes on a stylish new role as host of the original series STYLEWORLD on WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT. Fuentes takes viewers on a scenic journey of cosmopolitan cities around the globe exploring everything from architectural design to designer shopping. The third season premieres July 20th at 8:00 PM.
STYLEWORLD is the only series on television that combines women's favorite pastimes – shopping, travel and style – and provides viewers with on-line travel tips for today's woman who relies on technology to help simplify her life. Guided by Fuentes, viewers can explore a country's unique design and culture and learn about its architecture and favorite hotspots for shopping and dining. This season, STYLEWORLD visits scenic destinations around the world including some of America's favorite cities, New Orleans, Dallas, Washington D.C. and Boston. Viewers will also experience the allure of international cities such as Buenos Aires, Prague, Montreal, Rio, Istanbul and Helsinki.
Daisy became a regular fixture on cable television as the host of several MTV programs including House of Style and Fashionably Loud. Daisy Fuentes holds the distinction of being the first crossover VJ to appear on both English and Spanish versions of MTV. She went on to act as co-host of the popular primetime program America's Funniest Home Videos, which gained her recognition among all age groups nationwide. An international model, Daisy has graced the covers of such popular magazines as Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar and Maxim. She is currently pursuing a career in acting and was recently featured in the Miramax feature film CURDLED.
