(SUNRISE, FL) – David Lucoff, a 15-year cable industry veteran, has been named Vice President, Affiliate Sales for Fox Sports Net Florida. Jeff Genthner, Fox Sports Net's Senior Vice President and General Manager made the announcement today.
In his role, Lucoff will manage the network's relationships with Florida's cable and satellite operators and is charged with increasing Fox Sports Net's distribution on cable systems throughout the state.
"David is an accomplished senior manager with a successful career working for both a major Florida cable system and an international programming service distributor," said Genthner. "His clear understanding of the cable system operator's and program distributor's business objectives will be a great asset in Fox Sports Net's mandate to provide exceptional service and support to our affiliated distributors."
Prior to joining Fox Sports Net, Lucoff served for four years as the Senior Director of Affiliate Sales for DMX Music, a division of Liberty Media Corporation. There, he was responsible for subscriber distribution in North and South America. Lucoff also worked with Interaxx Television Network, based in Coral Springs, and began his career with Comcast Communications (formerly Selkirk Communications) in Ft. Lauderdale. He served as the President of the Florida chapter of CTAM in 1996, and during his tenure at Selkirk, the company was named the 1992 Broward County Corporate Citizen of the Year.
Lucoff, a graduate of Florida State University, earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing. A Coconut Creek resident, he will be based in the regional sports network's South Florida office in Sunrise.
