AMC Storymakers With Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe
In anticipation of the May 14 opening of the blockbuster film, Robin Hood, AMC is premiering exclusive interviews week of May 10 with Robin Hood star and Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe as well as the film’s director, Ridley Scott. The interviews are part of AMC’s Storymakers Specials that feature A-list talent discussing current entertainment headlines. Topics range from the Oscars, summer movies and holiday films to the actors’ craft, our guests’ current projects and the general state of the entertainment industry. In this latest installment of AMC’s Storymakers, Scott and Crowe talk candidly about reinterpreting the legend of Robin Hood, Cate Blanchett in the role of Lady Marion, the making of Robin Hood and how the two worked together on set.
WE tv & Wedding Central to Host 20-City Mall Tour
WE tv and Wedding Central have partnered with General Growth Properties (GGP), the nation’s second largest owner, developer and manager of regional shopping centers, on the 2010 WE tv Wedding Mall Tour. The 20-city mall tour coincides with the upcoming June premieres of season seven of "Bridezillas" and the third season debut of "My Fair Wedding with David Tutera." Kicking off Saturday, May 29 in Columbia, Md., the tour will travel to cities including Cincinnati, Baton Rouge and San Francisco and will run through October 9. Each mall tour event will feature one of the networks’ five wedding experts – cake designer Ron Ben-Israel; gown guru Mark Ingram; invitation innovator "Ceci" Johnson; event planner David Tutera; and event stylist Diann Valentine – who will provide ideas and tips on creating a fabulous wedding day at affordable prices. Top consumer brands will participate in each mall tour event as part of the wedding expert’s demonstrations, prizing and/or on-site displays, including: Kitchen Aid; Kodak; Men’s Wearhouse; Nina Shoes; Pottery Barn, SoBe; Titan Luggage; White House Black Market; and Williams-Sonoma. In addition, event attendees can enter to win raffle prizes, as well as a national sweepstakes sponsored by GGP.

IFC Films Launches New Genre Label – IFC Midnight
IFC Films launches today a genre label called IFC Midnight featuring films from around the world that include elements of horror, suspense, science fiction, or eroticism, or titles that have gained notoriety for controversial content or for their devoted "cult" followings. Select IFC Midnight titles are released theatrically and on VOD simultaneously while others will be given exclusive VOD premieres. Four new IFC Midnight films debut each month and are available on VOD in households across the country.
