“Escape from Hollywood” to Air in August on IFC

For those who need more from summer than the same old vacuum-packed, freezer-burned celluloid, The Independent Film Channel (IFC) delivers a fresh batch of film cooked up to titillate your famished-for-indie-film taste buds. This summer, keep the Hollywood heat from invading your mind and plunge into IFC’s cool reservoir of original, innovative films. Tune in to Escape From Hollywood on IFC every Sunday at 8:00 PM/ET in August for an alternative to mass-produced movies as IFC presents the best of recent indie works.

IFC will kick off its Escape From Hollywood marketing promotion on July 19. Cable operators will have an opportunity to earn points in exchange for participating. Points earned for running the Escape From Hollywood spot can be traded for prizes from The Sharper Image. The promotion will run through the end of the year.
