CINCINNATI – Fox Sports Net Ohio and Skyline Chili are providing a Reds fan the thrill of a lifetime – to pitch in the big leagues – with the return of the FIRST PITCH CONTEST. In addition to a trip to the mound, the lucky winner will also receive 20 tickets to the game. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement.
From April 17 to May 20, 2001, George Grande and Chris Welsh will announce one lucky winner’s name during every Reds telecast on Fox Sports Net. Each winner will receive a Fox Sports Net/Skyline Chili prize pack and become eligible for the grand prize drawing which will be held during the May 22 Reds game. That lucky winner will have the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Sunday, May 27 Reds game. In addition, they will receive 20 tickets for the game to bring along family and friends.
Reds fans can enter the FIRST PITCH CONTEST by sending a 3×5 postcard with their name, address (including zip code), and daytime phone number to the address below. Or, visit your local Skyline Chili Restaurant to get an entry form. Deadline for entry is May 21.
