(CHICAGO) – With the recent addition of the 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT to its programming line-up, FOX Sports Net Chicago today announced it will continue to enhance its “local” sports coverage with the debut of Chicago Sports Tonight on Monday, August 14 at 6:00 PM. The announcement was made by James J. Corno, FOX Sports Net Chicago’s Senior Vice President/General Manager.
Chicago Sports Tonight replaces The Game Room as FOX Sports Net’s pre/post-game show for every Chicago White Sox, Cubs, Bulls and Blackhawks telecast and will also air on non-game nights Monday-Friday at 7:00 PM. The new program comes on the heels of the network’s addition of the 11PM REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT, the area’s only nightly, live, half-hour local sports news program.
The new program will utilize a new graphics look, along with an enhanced local focus on the top sports stories of the day when it makes its August debut. Chicago Sports Tonight will feature FOX Sports Net’s on-air team of Eric Goodman, Damon Andrews, Gail Fischer, Megan Mawicke, Mitch Robinson and Eric Collins, plus – FSN’s line-up of top-notch analysts featuring Dave Otto, Norm Van Lier and Troy Murray.
