CLEVELAND –
The Fox Sports Net regional network in Ohio today announced its men’s college basketball schedule for the 2000-2001 season. In addition to a full line-up of regional and national conference action, the network will also cover several tournaments. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net (Ohio) made the announcement.
Cleveland State tips-off the season against Yale on Sunday, November 19
(2:00 PM). Additional regional basketball action scheduled during the season includes five games featuring the University of Kentucky, seven games highlighting Xavier University, and seven match-ups with the University of Dayton, including the March 4th game against Xavier.
In addition to Atlantic 10, MAC, MCC, and Pac-10 match-ups, Fox Sports Net will also provide fans exciting tournament action with The Pete Newell Challenge on Thursday, December 21 and The Nokia Sugar Bowl Classic on Thursday, December 28 with Game One (8:00 PM) featuring Tulane vs. Florida and Game Two (10:30 PM) pairing LSU vs. Oregon State.
