Florida’s Sports Leader Unveils 99-Game Schedule

(SUNRISE, FL) – Fox Sports Net Florida, the exclusive television rights holder for Marlins baseball, today announced a comprehensive 99-game telecast schedule for the 2002 Florida Marlins season. Viewers throughout the state will enjoy a cable schedule of 96-game regular season and three Spring Training match ups on Fox Sports Net Florida. (Complete Marlins cable telecast schedule follows).

Fox Sports Net’s Spring Training coverage of the Marlins features live Grapefruit League match ups against the New York Mets on Monday, March 18 (1:00pm), the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday, March 23 (1:00pm), and the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday, March 27 (6:00pm). The 2002 regular season opens on Fox Sports Net Tuesday, April 2 at 6:30pm in Montreal with the MARLINS ON DECK pre-game show. The Marlins then take the field at 7:00pm to battle the Expos. Fox Sports Net Florida’s Marlins telecast schedule features 48 home and 48 away match ups.
