(SUNRISE, FL) – Fox Sports Net Florida today announced the appointment of Larry Hoepfner as Vice President, General Sales Manager. Jeff Genthner, Fox Sports Net's Senior Vice President and General Manager made the announcement.
In his new role, Hoepfner, who has been with Fox Sports Net Florida since 1997, is charged with cultivating new corporate partnerships for Fox Sports Net Florida as well as building integrated marketing relationships with various team properties. He will also focus on leading Fox Sports Net's sales team on a local and national level.

As the network's Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing since 1997, Hoepfner's primary responsibilities included increasing distribution of the regional sports network on cable systems throughout the state, in addition to overseeing the network's advertising, marketing, and promotional efforts. He served as interim General Sales Manager between October 1998 and December 1999. Prior to joining Fox Sports Net, Hoepfner was the Regional Director of Marketing for MediaOne (Continental Cablevision) for the Southeast United States.
Hoepfner is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio) and received an MBA from University of Miami in Florida. He will continue to be based in the regional sports network's South Florida office in Sunrise.
