Fox Sports Net Florida will air the 2001 FLORIDA/GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STAR GAME on Sunday, December 30 at 1:00pm. This annual football classic features the high school All-Stars from the state of Florida as they go head-to-head against the All-Stars from Georgia. The game, founded in 1985, is played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on December 29 and will be called by Dave Neal and Jamie Newberg. The Georgia All-Stars lead the series 7-6-3.
The 2001 FLORIDA/GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STAR GAME features high school football standouts from Florida like Leon Washington, running back from Jacksonville; Chris Davis, wide receiver from St Petersburg Catholic High; Max Jean-Giles, offensive lineman from North Miami Beach; Earl Newby, linebacker from Palm Beach Gardens; Glen Sharpe, safety of Miami Carol City; and defensive lineman Chris Anderson from Mandarin High in Jacksonville.
