This week, FSNAA tells the heartbreak story of St. Louis QB Kurt Warner. He’s won two NFL MVP awards and led the Rams to a Super Bowl title in his first three years as a starter. But now, he walks the sidelines as a back-up, with some people questioning if it’s his continual openness about his faith that has put him there. FSNAA examines the controversial role religion plays in Kurt Warner’s life – on and off the field with teammates, coaches, journalists, Warner’s wife and Warner himself. Fox Sports Net Midwest’s Dan McLaughlin reports.
In the last five years, no pitching duo has won as many as the 159 games that Andy Pettite and Roger Clemens have. After bolting from New York after the 2003 season, the two Texans open up about their reunion in Houston, their friendship and the season ahead. Fox Sports Net Southwest’s Bill Brown reports.
Tahj Mowery is a senior at Westlake High School in Southern California. He’s been acting since age 5 with various roles, but now, he is trying to change that same image he has spent most his of his life creating. Mowery rushed for 19 touchdowns this season, leading the undefeated Westlake Warriors football team. Mowery is putting his acting career on hold and will play college football in the state of Georgia this fall. Fox Sports Net’s Patrick O’Neal reports.
This week’s “Whatever Happened To?” catches up with some of the more memorable names in sports and you might be surprised to see what they’re up to now. This week we tracked down former NFL quarterback Vince Ferragamo. It’s been more than 20 years since Ferragamo led the Rams to the Super Bowl. He and the Rams covered a lot of real estate in those days and he’s still doing it now, only it’s in the business world.
It’s the most exciting three weeks in sports. 65 teams, 64 games, and a season’s worth of excitement. In his weekly segment, “An Audible… from Rick Telander,” Telander talks about what he likes most about March Madness and why the NCAA tournament is one of the greatest sporting events around.
