Fox Sports Net Ohio Reaches Agreements With Major Cable Affiliates For Full Carriage of 150-Game Indians TV Schedule

AT&T, Adelphia, Cox, Insight, Time Warner and WideOpenWest (WOW) Among More Than 40 Cable Operators to Carry Complete Season of Indians Baseball

CLEVELAND – Fox Sports Net Ohio today announced that it has reached agreements with more than 40 cable operators throughout its viewing region for carriage of the network’s complete 150-game Indians television schedule.

In October, Fox Sports Net Ohio reached a new television rights agreement with the Cleveland Indians that doubles the number of games aired on the network from 75 to 150 games, beginning with the 2002 season. Among the cable operators slated to carry Fox Sports Net Ohio’s comprehensive Indians schedule are AT&T Broadband, Adelphia Communications, Cox Communications, Insight Communications, Time Warner Cable and WideOpenWest (formerly Ameritech). The first pitch of the 2002 season on Fox Sports Net Ohio takes place in Anaheim as the Tribe faces the Angels on Tuesday, April 2 at 10 pm. Back this year to kick off every home and away game is the Emmy award-winning pre game show, Tribe Time. And adding to its already unparalleled coverage of the team, Fox Sports Net Ohio will present the Cleveland Clinic Indians Post Game Report that will immediately follow each game telecast.

Fox Sports Net Ohio began airing Indians baseball on August 15, 1989, with an 11-game regular season package.
