BOSTON, MA – Fox Sports Net New England announced this morning that it has reached a 10-game agreement with Boston University Hockey. The addition of these Boston University games to Fox Sports Net's HOCKEY EAST schedule, results in a package of 25 college hockey games to be telecast during the 2001-02 season. Fox Sports Net's coverage of Terrier hockey will begin on October 28th at 7pm when Merrimack visits BU. David Woodman, Senior Vice President/General Manager, Fox Sports Net New England made the announcement.

Fox Sports Net's 10-game Boston University television schedule includes rivaled match-ups including University of New Hampshire at Boston University on November 4 at 7pm; Boston University at Harvard on November 20 at 7pm; and Maine at Boston University on March 2 at 7pm.
"We are really excited about getting this much exposure for our hockey team through such an outstanding cable network," said Boston University Athletic Director Gary Strickler. "Fox Sports Net has always provided first class coverage of college athletics."
