CLEVELAND – The FOX Sports Net regional network in Ohio today announced its men’s and women’s basketball schedule from the Mid-American Conference. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, FOX Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement
FOX Sports Net will offer an 11 game men’s basketball schedule including three tournament games, and a seven game women’s basketball telecast package also including three tournament games. Both feature local teams and top rivalries from the sixth oldest conference in the nation.
FOX Sports Net tips-off the 2000-2001 men’s basketball schedule on Thursday, November 30 (8:00 PM) with Temple visiting Miami (Ohio). On Saturday, January 13 (6:00 PM) catch Miami as they host Ohio University. Viewers can tune in and follow the rest of the season on FOX Sports Net featuring six additional match-ups from around the MAC. Also on the schedule is MAC tournament action with games beginning on Monday, March 5 at 7:30 PM (followed by a tournament special looking at all the games being played in the tournament) and Thursday, March 8 at 12 PM and 9 PM.
Women’s hoop action on FOX Sports Net begins on Saturday, February 3 (12:00 PM) with Kent State taking on Bowling Green.
