New York, NY, August 12, 2003 – Put away your Jitney pass and give up your expensive summer share, Fuse, the nation's only all-music, viewer driven network is bringing The Fuse Beach House to New York City. Complete with bikini-clad babes and studly boy toys, come check out the real-life Fuse Beach House. There will also be wall-to-wall beach party programming and on-air interviews. Fuse promises a "day at the beach" when the beach house rolls into Manhattan.
On Wednesday, August 13, 2003 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET, Fuse will park the actual centerpiece for its new ad campaign, The Fuse Beach House, outside the Fuse studios at 11 Penn Plaza – Seventh Avenue and 32nd Street – directly across from the landmark Penn Station Marquee. Get a load of Fuse's shabby mobile home, The Fuse Beach House, that's more tacky trailer park than haughty Hampton's habitat.
During the festivities, The Fuse Beach House trailer will become a second home to Fuse VJ's Marianela, Juliya, Dennis and Steven who will conduct on-air interviews and introduce new music videos. Then from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. ET, join them for a special all-acoustic performance by Australian recording star Ben Lee – airing live on Fuse during IMX: Interactive Music Xchange. The Fuse Beach House – at 11 Penn Plaza – will also be the digs for a bevy of buff beauties who will be giving away trashy treats and kitschy postcards to passersby.
Also on Wednesday, Fuse is taking over Times Square. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET that afternoon, a second gang of swimwear-clad hotties will give away Fuse gifts and postcards to Times Square pedestrians. And, what's a party without pictures? So Fuse will invite people to have their own memorable New York moments digitally captured with Fuse's sexy sun kissed sirens and sculpted surfer dudes. Before you can say Beach Blanket Bingo, the pictures will be sent instantly to the subject's email address.
