Brian Hoffman Named Vice President, On-Air Promotions and Packaging
New York, NY, November 9, 2005 – fuse, the nation's only music-centric, viewer-driven network, announced today the appointments of Alex Campbell to Vice President, Programming and Production and Brian Hoffman to Vice President, On-Air Promotions and Packaging. Today's announcement, made by Robert Weiss, Head of Entertainment, cements fuse's commitment to expand its original programming, on-air branding and packaging elements.

This announcement comes on the heels of fuse's recent partnership with Marketgraph's SMS-TV. fuse became the first American TV network to offer this format which greatly vitalizes the TV experience abroad, for both viewers and the content creator. fuse incorporates this technology into three new relationship-based video-flow shows – Perfect Pair, Dumped and Heavy Texting. In addition to this partnership, fuse continues to maintain its leadership as the #1 network in P12-34 concentration for the third consecutive year, by providing programming including-100%, Daily Download, and Oven Fresh, that is in-tune with the tech-savvy, multi-tasker fuse viewer.
Campbell's responsibilities range from overseeing all current series, specials and production management to artist and talent relations and music acquisitions. Hoffman is charged with all aspects of fuse's on-air promotions and packaging, including program graphics and station id's.
Prior to joining fuse, Campbell worked at VH1, where he served as a Director of Development, charged with executive production, creating alternate concepts for new television programs and business development. His production background includes various posts held at ABC, NBC, UPN, and USA. He earned a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Alabama.
Hoffman was most recently employed by HBO Creative Services, where he worked as a writer/producer, creating series tune-ins and image spots. Before HBO, he was a writer/produce/director at VH1, where he was responsible for brand-image promotions and tune-in spots. Hoffman also held similar positions at USA Networks, Sci-Fi Channel and AMC. He graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
