(San Francisco, CA April 3, 2005) – Fuse, the nation's only viewer-driven, all-music network, has added Sandy Rubinstein as Vice President of Marketing. The announcement was made today at The National Cable Television Association's annual convention by Cablevision Sports and Music Networks President Andrea Greenberg.
Ms. Rubinstein will oversee all on- and off-channel marketing for the edge-pushing music television brand. This will include all marketing, promotions, network advertising and consumer and sales market research.
"Sandy is an innovative strategist and accomplished brand builder who brings a unique set of skills to Fuse and its executive management team," said Greenberg. "We are very fortunate to have Sandy leading our already stellar and extremely talented marketing group."
Prior to Fuse, Rubinstein was most recently Vice President of Sponsorship and Promotions Marketing for Nick@Nite and TV Land, where she was responsible for implementing all marketing and promotional initiatives that extended the network's brand identity through key partnerships with 20th Century Fox, Sony, Campbell's, Home Depot, and Procter & Gamble, among others. During her tenure, Rubinstein introduced TV Land's first ever on-pack promotional program with the 2003 Partnership with Mentos and helped to secure in restaurant partnership with Wendy's extending the companies pro-social initiative.
Before joining Viacom, she was Director of Cross Divisional Opportunities for GMC Trucks where she was responsible for developing, negotiating, and implementing marketing opportunities on behalf of General Motors throughout the Northeast Region. During her tenure, she secured sponsorship opportunities with high-profile entertainment and sports properties including the New York Rangers, Macy's Day Parade, New York Jets, and Madison Square Garden Theater.
Rubinstein has also served as Director of Consumer Promotion & Marketing for USA Networks' The SciFi Channel, as well as holding numerous strategic marketing positions with The Box Music Television Network and Polygram Records.
Rubinstein earned a Bachelor of Music Media Industry from the University of Miami.
