(NEW YORK, N.Y, October 28, 2004) – Fuse, the nation’s only viewer-driven, all-music network, will air its annual one-hour URANIUM “Viewer’s Poll” special this Friday night October 29th at 8:00 PM EST (5:00 PM PST).
The gold standard of metal shows, the “Viewer’s Poll” is where Uranium gives the loyal metal fans a chance to have their opinions heard by voting on some of the most pertinent topics in metal at www.fuse.tv. Fans had the chance to vote on everything from “Most Overrated Band”, “Great Band – Bad Look”, and “Worst Video for a Great Song” as well as “Best Album” and “Best Video”. Some of the bands featured in the show are Lamb of God, Hatebreed, All That Remains, Goatwhore, Stampin’ Ground, Killswitch Engage, Deicide, Suffocation, Mastodon, Slipknot, Unearth, Terror and more!
For the first time, fans also had the opportunity to vote on their favorite Uranium moments and the grossest story told during an interview. Thousands of votes poured in, opinions were heard, and egos will be shattered when the results are announced on Friday.
The Uranium Viewer’s Poll premiere on Friday night at 8:00 PM EST (5:00 PST) and will immediately be followed by an exclusive Slipknot concert special filmed at the legendary Astoria Theatre in London. Be sure to stay tuned for the whole weekend to watch the special along with some of the choice Uranium episodes from the last year.
It’s all part of the Uranium Halloween Weekend which concludes Halloween Sunday with a solid EIGHT HOURS of METAL! It all starts at 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM PST) with a marathon of some of the scariest and best episodes of Uranium including the infamous House of Shock episode, and a behind the scenes look on the set of the Rob Zombie movie The Devil’s Rejects. At 9:00 PM EST (6:00 PM PST) tune in for a re-broadcast of the Viewer’s Poll special and Slipknot concert special.
